Designed and built by PAASC – Small Academy of Arts and Development of Creativity

“On the other pins, like dead men for the same reason that struck in August now, above all them, rested in its ground pin.
Do you want to know how all this was possible? If you are capable, you big, treat yourself to a dream but give it a little because it will be the only one, only him, to turn it into immensely great ”

Under the Patronage of the Foundation of the Holocaust Museum and the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, in collaboration with PAASC Nitam, has the honor to present a wonderful metaphor as a tribute to the children of the Holocaust.

In conjunction with the 4th anniversary of the birth of the Small Academy of Arts and Creativity Development and publication of the graphic novel by Paolo Valentini, Matisklo Editions, children aged 4 to 15 years, students of the annual courses of theater, dance, song and painting, they stage a historic moment that marked a profound and indelible humanity.

Told as a fable in a colorful haberdashery come alive needles, pins, thread, buttons, scissors and fabrics; a metaphor that want to convey how essential it is to accept diversity and be aware that the other, whatever its history and its origin, it is essential to create harmony and completeness in the society in which we live.

In a time of great tensions and difficulties we are certain that the message of Needle and Buttons can be a sign of hope and confidence for all but especially for children who face the life of the great!

Thanks to the cooperation with LUISS Creative Business Center, PAASC gave the kids a confrontation with the Master’s students who contributed to the realization of the show.

The endless creativity and enthusiasm that exudes every day during class are the engine that motivates PAASC to continue to devote his time to all children and young people who now follow us for years.

The Love of Needle and Buttons is the first theatrical realization of the original text by Paolo Valentini with the objective of long-term replication in the forthcoming celebrations to mark the “Day of Remembrance 2015” in memory of the Holocaust. For the occasion, more theaters and theater companies, and on the same day throughout the country, will stage the above text giving greater voice to the social message.

The Management and Staff of PAASC express Finally, deep gratitude to the President of the Foundation Museum of the Holocaust, Leo Paserman, who shared and enjoyed the project with great enthusiasm.
